Nina Freckles writes songs
as if they were little letters to her younger self —
After releasing her self-produced debut EP “How Many People Can I Be?“ (May 2025), the independent artist celebrated with a sold-out release concert in Hanover, her city of residence. In September 2025, she and her band successfully completed their first club tour across nothern Germany. “Nina Freckles”-concerts are eclectic shows that feel like a shared conversation. Between songs, she tells stories, laughs with the audience, and constantly reinvents her live setup: sometimes solo, sometimes as a duo, with a full band, or even an entire choir. The result is concerts that always sound a little different but remain intimate, playful, and energetic, showcasing the versatility and emotional depth of her music.
With airplay on German radio stations including SR 2 KulturRadio, Radio Fritz (rbb), Radio Hannover, Leibniz FM, and TIDE Radio, Nina Freckles is now spreading her wings internationally.
honestly, thoughtfully and always with a touch of humor. Her lyrics tell intimate stories of coming-of-age, self-reflection and deep empathy fo her own struggles and growth. The German-Brazilian songwriter effortlessly blends folk, soul and pop into a genre-defying sound. Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell or Sara Bareilles, she pairs delicate harmonies with driving rhythms and a voice that feels both vulnerable and strong. Where others might drift into pathos, Nina keeps her feet on the ground and stays genuine — as if she were inviting the audience straight to her kitchen table.
